Who we are

Pontara Group Ltd (company no. 16247054, registered office 127 Regent Road, Bolton, England, BL6 4DX) is responsible for the personal information described here. You can reach us through the form on our contact page.

What we collect

• What you send in the quote form: your name, email, phone number, the property postcode, details of your project and any photos you add.
• What you send in a design brief we share with you: your answers and any images you upload.
• Basic, anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, device type). These use no cookies and can't identify you.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, arrange a visit, prepare a quote or a design, and, if you go ahead, to carry out the work. Our legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you, and our legitimate interest in running and improving our business. We don't sell your details or use them for unrelated marketing.

Where it's kept

Requests are stored securely with our website host (Vercel) and delivered to our inbox through our email provider (Resend). Both act on our instructions only. Photos you upload are stored at an unlisted web address that we only share within our team.

How long we keep it

If you don't become a customer, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If you do, we keep project records for as long as we need them for the work, any guarantee, and our legal and tax obligations.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Contact us through the form on our contact page. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
